Police arrested Ramirez after investigating a report by the parents of two girls, ages 10 and 11. Ramirez reportedly didnt know the girls or their parents but did know the homeowner through a work relationship and was visiting after a day of wine tasting, police said. She was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the incident.
The parents and children, whose names were not disclosed, told police the woman allegedly restrained, threatened and assaulted the girls in a bedroom where the youngsters were playing during a social gathering, police said.
Ramirez is free on $100,000 bail and is scheduled to return to court for her next hearing later this month.
