Advertise Hotspot was a place to advertise forums and websites, created by Joel on December 16th, 2009. The name was made by the owner himself, although he had no idea how that name could just suddenly came to his mind and as he chose it to be the name of his site. Advertise Hotspot was officially opened for business on January 15th, 2010. The forum at first was hosted on ForuMotion, one of the largest forum hosting available on the internet.

During the first few months since the grand opening of the site, many new members joined Advertise Hotspot and it received tremendous amount of posts. Slowly but surely, the site grew. And before anyone noticed it, Advertise Hotspot hit over 50,000 posts. The site continuously had upgrades and changes, and received positive feedback from our members. The site changed to a new skin, upgraded the looks, and got a whole new set of graphics for the forum.

However, around the end of 2010, Advertise Hotspot was attacked by hackers several times. Joel and his management team had to restore the forum and raise the security of the forum to prevent further hacking. Unfortunately, the hackers kept on attacking. After long, hard discussions with the staff members, the management team of Advertise Hotspot finally decided to move the site out of ForuMotion to an independent host.

The decision was to upgrade the forum and paid for an advance hosting and went on with phpBB. Thus, the rest period of the site started. With the help of one of most appreciated administrator — who had to step down from his position, unfortunately — Austin, most of the forum’s posts and members got transferred to the new site. Advertise Hotspot was closed for a while as Joel and his team moved the forum to a new place.

At the beginning of January 2011 the forum returned. Advertise Hotspot once again returned to the world of forums and websites advertising. Undergoing upgrades once in a while, the forum is now maintained carefully by the team to give the best services to all our members. Many new members joined the site, and some previous members had rejoined the forum again. Advertise Hotspot had received a huge amount of positive feedback from the members about the huge move. The team had since installed many new features for the forum, such as the arcade MOD. Advertise Hotspot had undergone many changes, from appearances to services; all for the sake for a better place to advertise.
